Suzuki Philippines Safety Riding Clinic Hits Butuan City: Suzuki to conduct Learn to Ride program in Top NCR Universities

Butuan City – With uncompromising commitment to its safety riding advocacy program, Suzuki Philippines Incorporated spearheaded a complete session of safety riding seminar and a taste of Learn to Ride session at Father Saturnino Urios University, Butuan City on June 23.
The Safety Riding Seminar, which was the first phase of the program held in the university auditorium, was a comprehensive discussion of the basic knowledge on: “How to choose the right motorcycle, Correct Riding Wear and Posture, Speed and Sight, How to Apply Brakes, Proper Pillion Riding, Traffic Rules and Regulations and the Right of Way Principles. The whole day activity was led and presented by Suzuki Philippines Safety and Racing Section Officers.
The second phase of the program was an actual demonstration of what was discussed during the seminar followed by a brief Learn to Ride session. Both activities which were highly commended by the students and administrators were attended by more than 500 participants and were witnessed by almost 2,000 students.
“We commend Suzuki Philippines for organizing such activity in our school, it only shows that they are indeed a responsible manufacturer of motorcycle. This is one of the reasons why Suzuki has a special place in this University,” Ms. Mary Grace M. Brongcano, Community Extension Services Directress of Urios University commented. Same commendation was also given by Butuan City Motortrade representatives, Suzuki’s partner dealer in the said activity.
 Suzuki brings the Learn to Ride Program to universities with its Campus Safety Riding Clinic in its advocacy to promote safety riding among students.

With the success of the recent University Campus Safety Riding Clinic, Suzuki Philippines is aiming to arrange a series of similar activities in different schools nationwide to further promote its safety riding advocacy, this is apart from their Learn to Ride Program in partnership with Land Transportation Office which are also conducted at the LTO Main Office in Quezon City. Initially, Learn to Ride has already secured the following schedules in the following university campus venues: July 10 -11, Mapua Makati, July 12 – 13, National University, July 24 – 25, Adamson University, July 26 – 27, Lyceum University, August 7 – 8, UE Caloocan, August 9 – 10, PUP Sta. Mesa, August 21 – 22 University of Sto. Tomas, and August 23 – 24, PCU Taft.
