Suzuki holds 2-day Motorcycle Learn-To-Ride Training with media
Japanese compact car and motorcycle manufacturer Suzuki Philippines Inc. (SPH) recently hosted a 2-day Motorcycle Safety Learn-To-Ride training for media at the Land Transportation Office training grounds in partnership with the official hotel sponsor, Cocoon Boutique hotel.
As part of the company’s CSR efforts, the Suzuki Learn-To-Ride program is conceived to address the alarming growth of road accidents involving motorcycles in the Philippines. The weekend course incorporates theoretical knowledge, alongside with actual demonstrations for a complete safety-riding program. At the end of the two-day seminar, the participants will be issued a certificate which they can present to the LTO when they are applying for a restriction 1 non-professional driver’s license. Moreover, Suzuki Philippines is providing instructors and personnel to guide, train and assist future motorcycle instructors of the LTO, alongside motorcycle units, handbooks and certificates of completion to be used on the implementation of the Learn-to-ride program.
