MDPPA LAUNCHES SAFE T KIDS PROGRAM

Road safety knows no age; that’s why the Motorcycle Development Program Participants Association (MDPPA) embarked on a project that will instill the idea of safety to young students through the MDPPA Safe T Kids Program. The activity was launched recently at the San Beda Alabang Campus wherein elementary students were given a very comprehensive course about Road Safety.

Safe-T-Kids program is an educational course that was introduced to teach children how to be safe on the streets by learning traffic rules and behavior. It is designed for children with an age range of 9-11 years old. The lesson was made more engaging by showcasing actual situations that children can easily relate to which involved role playing that made the learning more interactive. This way the kids were able to easily understand the lessons and apply them in real life situations.

Forty Grade 3 students of San Beda Alabang attended the event.

The program started with the discussion about how lives can be saved by simply being familiar with the sounds on the road followed by becoming accustomed to road signs and signals. Actual demonstration on how to walk and cross the streets was also tackled.
